Terms of Service

Last updated: November 6, 2025

1. Scope of Services

Plantline provides landscaping design and installation, irrigation analysis, maintenance services, and delivery of plants and landscaping materials within Puerto Rico's metropolitan area. All services are subject to availability and scheduling capacity.

Service estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Project scope and pricing may be adjusted based on site conditions discovered during initial consultation or project commencement.

2. Scheduling & Delivery

Project start dates and delivery schedules are provided as estimates and may be subject to change due to weather conditions, material availability, or other factors beyond our control. We will make every effort to notify clients of any schedule changes as soon as possible.

Delivery services require a recipient to be present at the delivery location. If no one is available to receive the delivery, additional delivery fees may apply for rescheduling.

3. Payments

Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Typically, a deposit is required to schedule services, with the balance due upon completion. For material deliveries, full payment is required before or upon delivery.

We accept cash, check, and electronic payments. Late payments may be subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is less.

4. Returns & Refunds

Materials: Unused materials in original condition may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee. Plants must be returned in their original containers with minimal damage. Soil, mulch, and custom-mixed materials are non-returnable once delivered.

Services: Service fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. If you need to cancel a scheduled service, please provide at least 48 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees.

Plant Warranty: We guarantee plants for 30 days from delivery when planted according to our provided care instructions. Warranty claims require proof of proper care and watering.

5. Liability

Plantline carries general liability insurance for our operations. Clients are responsible for marking any underground utilities, irrigation lines, or other hidden infrastructure before work begins. We are not liable for damage to unmarked or improperly marked utilities.

While we take great care in our work, natural factors such as weather, pests, and diseases can affect plant health. We are not liable for plant loss due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, pest infestations, or failure to follow care instructions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services or products shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service or product in question.

6. Privacy

We collect and store client contact information and project details solely for the purpose of providing services and maintaining business records. We do not sell or share client information with third parties except as required by law or with service providers who assist in our operations (e.g., payment processors).

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described. Client information is maintained securely and in compliance with applicable Puerto Rico and federal privacy laws.
